Ellen founded Synchrogenix, a global pharmaceutical services business in 1986, acting as CEO through its sale in 2014. Synchrogenix creates the submissions that go to world regulatory agencies (e.g., FDA, ASEAN, EMEA) in the drug approval process. Under her leadership, Synchrogenix grew to be the largest such company in the world, with offices in six states and three continents. Prior to limiting its practice to pharma in 2005, Synchrogenix had an active marketing division that provided public relations services to corporate and nonprofit clients. In addition to serving on the Republican National Committee (RNC), Ellen is the Chairman of the RNC’s Conservative Steering Committee. She also serves as Secretary of the American Principles Project and is a Trustee of the Witherspoon Institute at Princeton University, Collegium at the University of Pennsylvania, and the Elm Institute at Yale. She was the founder and President of A Rose and a Prayer, a pro-life organization in Delaware. She is a Dame of the Military Order of the Knights of Malta and was awarded the Benemerenti Medal by Pope Benedict XVI.
