James T. Morris has an extensive government relations practice as a founding partner of the Quinn and Morris law firm. He also is a renowned trial attorney with a specialty in personal injury cases. Morris previously was employed by Gulf Oil Corporation, served as counsel to the speaker of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, and was executive assistant to the attorney general of Massachusetts. Morris is a member of the Massachusetts Inspector General Advisory Council and serves as chair of the Massachusetts State College Building Authority. He is a recipient of the Certificate of Outstanding Service to the Commonwealth. He received a JD from Suffolk University Law School in 1971 and holds a BA from the University of Massachusetts.
