Thomas G Prater

Thomas G. Prater, MD, FACS, has been in practice in Springfield since 1987. He currently practices at Mattax-Neu-Prater Eye Center in Springfield. Dr. Prater holds memberships in the Greene County Medical Society, the Missouri State Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons and an examiner, oral examination, in the American Board of Ophthalmology. He served as President of the Springfield Board of Education and President of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks. Dr. Prater and his wife, Kimberley Alexander Prater, M.D., have two children; Alexandra and Bronwyn.
