Justine is the Senior Vice President and Head of Brand, Advertising and Sponsorships for BMO Financial Group, North America (BMO Harris Bank). In this role, she is responsible for brand strategy, advertising across North America and all sponsorships for the Bank. Fedak is responsible for brand positioning, advertising, promotional activities for the personal, commercial and wealth management businesses for the Bank. She works closely with all areas of the Bank and as part of the management team ensures all activities align with business strategy. She joined BMO Financial Group in 1992 in Public Affairs working in Media Relations, and has worked across Corporate Sponsorships, Corporate Marketing, Wealth Management Marketing, Capital Markets Marketing, Retail and Commercial Banking Marketing and Communications. Fedak joined BMO Harris Bank from its parent company, BMO Financial Group, where she held a variety of senior positions in both Canada and the US. Her background includes positions as Vice President and Head of Corporate Sponsorships and Events, and most recently SVP Marketing and Client Strategies. After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2001, Justine worked hard to recover her mobility in order to train for and run a half marathon in 2009. Although she is no longer able to run, she continues to be an advocate for healthy living. She is a regular speaker across the US and Canada at Marketing, Branding and Communications conferences; and she is often called upon by the media to speak about living with MS. Justine serves as a member of the Executive Board of the “Noah’s Arc” Foundation, Chicago Bull Joakim Noah’s charitable organization and is very involved with youth, sports and the arts. Justine has earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Dalhousie University. She is a member of the Board of Directors of The Magnificent Mile Association, Gilda’s Club Chicago, Access Living, and Chicago Police Foundation; and sits on the Advisory Board of the Leadership Institute for People with Disabilities ADA 25 Chicago. She is on the Executive Committee of the Chicago Sports Commission, serves as Chairperson to the Municipal Marketing Advisory Council for the City of Chicago and is a regular contributor to the Chicago Sun-Times “Splash”. Justine is honored to be acknowledged as Out on Bay Street’s 2011 Leading Executive Ally (Toronto); the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s 2013 “Woman on the Move”; the Chicago Business Journal’s 2015 Women of Influence; and Dalhousie University’s 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.
