A fifth generation Minnesotan, Angus spent 20 years in the financial services industry in Minneapolis holding a variety of positions before he founded Northern Environmental Support Trust. In his last position he was Managing Director and Manager of Corporate Bond Trading at US Bancorp/ Piper Jaffray. He has 28 years of nonprofit board experience. Angus currently serves as chair of the trustees of the Mississippi River Fund which supports the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, a unit of the National Park Service. He has served on the boards of Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy, Greater Yellowstone Coalition and Outward Bound Wilderness. On each board, he led the development committee and was an active member of the finance committee. A graduate of Macalester College, Angus left the world of finance to found NEST in response to changes in the landscapes he loves. He serves as Executive Director.
