Susan B. Hirschmann joined Williams & Jensen as a Principal in 2002. Ms. Hirschmann provides strategic advice concerning the House and Senate and their Leadership, as well as the Administration. She also has extensive grassroots experience. Since 2002, and more significantly since 2010, she has donated at least $590,000 to various politician and political organizations, almost exclusively Republican. Before joining the Whip Office, Susan was the Chief of Staff for Congressman Van Hilleary (R-TN) and prior to that, was the Executive Director of Eagle Forum, a pro-family, national grassroots organization. Ms. Hirschmann moved to Washington, D.C., in 1987 to run the College Republican National Committee. As Executive Director, she organized the college political efforts for the 1988 campaigns. , Ms. Hirschmann served as a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy Institute of Politics in 2002, and contributed an essay to a new book released by Harvard's Institute of Politics, Skirting Tradition: Women in Politics Speak to the Next Generation. Ms. Hirschmann recently served as one of the three Bush Administration delegates representing the United States at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.
