For more than 20 years, Carol Bilzi has counseled clients on the regulatory and policy aspects of international business and financial transactions. She regularly advises clients on compliance with US international trade laws and regulations, including US sanctions and embargoes implemented by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), export controls, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, antiboycott laws, customs laws, and the USA Patriot Act. In addition, Carol advises on the implications of multilateral and bilateral trade agreements, such as WTO and NAFTA, in connection with international transactions. Her work includes counseling companies and associations regarding the development of trade policies and legislative strategies.
