Arthur C Martinez

ARTHUR C. MARTINEZ is the former Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sears, Roebuck and Co. Mr. Martinez was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the former Sears Merchandise Group from 1992 to 1995 and served as Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sears, Roebuck and Co. from 1995 until 2000. He served as Vice Chairman and a director of Saks Fifth Avenue from 1990 to 1992. He is also a director of Liz Claiborne, Inc., International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. and IAC/Interactive Corp. Mr. Martinez is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ABN AMRO Holding, N.V. Mr. Martinez was elected to PepsiCo's Board in 1999.
