LAWRENCE R. FULLERTON is a partner in Sidley’s Washington, D.C., office, where he focuses on domestic and international antitrust law and policy, including the review of mergers and other corporate transactions under the antitrust laws. He currently serves as one of the Global Coordinators for Sidley’s Antitrust Practice Team. From 1995 to 1998, Mr. Fullerton served in three senior positions in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, including: Chief of Staff for the Antitrust Division; Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Merger Enforcement; and Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Telecommunications. Mr. Fullerton is recognized in Chambers USA (2007) and in The Legal 500: United States (2007). He currently is a lecturer at the University of Virginia School of Law, where he teaches a course on antitrust review of mergers, and he serves as an Associate Editor of Antitrust Magazine.
