Nancy Clark

Nancy Rutter, a senior editor at Forbes ASAP, who was in charge of this year's list and the accompanying articles, is married to Jim Clark, the 54-year-old co-founder of the Netscape Communications Corporation. He is No. 28 on the list, with total assets of $412.4 million. Ms. Rutter, 44, met Mr. Clark in 1989 while he was still running Silicon Graphics Inc. and she was editor of Upside Magazine. They married in 1990. She is now a part-time staffer for ASAP, a bimonthly supplement to Forbes magazine, working from the couple's homes in Silicon Valley and Palm Beach, Fla.
