Richard Galling is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Hammes Company. Richard is responsible for directing the company’s service line divisions and regional locations. He is considered a national leading expert on the planning and development of hospitals and ambulatory facilities, having personally directed the development of more than 100 facilities over a 25-year period. Richard is often quoted in national publications and speaks regularly at various industry associations and trade groups. Previously, Richard was the Director of Development for the Henry S. Reuss Federal Plaza and the corporate headquarters of Northwestern Mutual Life, and served in the same capacity for the University Place mixed-use development in Charlotte, NC. He is a graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering and currently sits on the board of several Milwaukee-based organizations including Milwaukee Rescue Mission, and the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He also serves as Board President of the Three Harbors Council - Boy Scouts of America.
