Marguerite Kircher

Marguerite (Margy) Kircher is a Senior Vice President of Wellington Shields & Co. LLC, a New York Stock Exchange member firm providing full service brokerage to institutions and high net worth individuals. Mrs. Kircher joined Shields & Company in 1986 as a registered representative. Wellington Shields & Co. was formed in 2009 by combining H.G. Wellington & Co., founded in 1925, and Shields & Co., founded in 1982. In addition to holding the position of Branch Office Manager of the firm’s Locust Valley, NY office, Mrs. Kircher, an equity partner, also serves as an Officer of the firm, as a member of its Investment Committee, and as its Series 4 Supervisory Registered Options Principal. Prior to joining Shields & Co, she was a registered representative with Sterling Grace & Co, a former NYSE member firm. Mrs. Kircher, born and raised in Garden City, NY, her husband Steve, and their children Sable (Kellenberg MHS Class of 2015) and Cullen (Kellenberg MHS Class of 2017) are active parishioners at St. Rose of Lima Parish in Massapequa, NY. After having served on the 50th Anniversary Committee for the parish in 2002, Mrs. Kircher then began a long career of service to St. Rose of Lima School where she served on the School Board from 2003-2013, 5 of those years serving as President. Mrs. Kircher has co-chaired the annual St. Rose of Lima Family Festival since 2005, and continues to serve on the schools’ Finance Committee. Mrs. Kircher is also active in the St. Rose of Lima CYO program and in the Massapequa Mustangs Football organization. Mrs. Kircher was recently appointed to the Diocese of Rockville Centre Education Commission where she will serve on the Finance Committee. Mrs. Kircher received a B.A. in Biology/Chemistry from Sweet Briar College, is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and currently holds 3 securities principal licenses.
