Bob’s background is in investment banking and financial management. From 1996-2005 he served as Vice Chairman/Partner of Riverside Management Group, a venture capital investment company. From 1989 to 1995 he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Horsehead Resource Development Company, a market leading environmental recycling company. Between 1973 and 1989 he was an investment banker with Kidder Peabody and Prudential Securities, where he served as a Managing Director and led waste-to-energy specialty financing groups which helped corporate and municipal clients raise over $8 billion. He is currently the Board Chair of EcoHealth Alliance. He was one of the originators of the EPIC (Environmental Protection through Incentives and Commerce) program at Columbia University and served on the Advisory Board of Columbia’s Center for Environmental Research and Conservation. He has also served on the boards of the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health, the Stepping Stones Foundation and the Nereid Boat Club. Bob has a BA from Harvard College, an LLB from New York University Law School, and an MBA and a Certificate in Conservation Biology from Columbia University.
