Jamie McShane became Senior Vice President for Communications at The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) effective January 1, 2014. Prior to that, Mr. McShane was the Director of Communications for the New York City Council. Before becoming chief spokesman for the New York City Council, McShane was an Emmy-award-winning political producer for NBC New York. He previously covered government and politics at CNN, and NY1 News. A native of Sunnyside, Queens and a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science, McShane received a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Albany. He lives in New York City with his wife and their two children.
