Wendy Kopp is Senior Vice President and Investment Counselor for Capital Group Private Client Services. She works directly with high net worth individuals and families to create customized plans for protecting and growing their wealth, often across multiple generations. Wendy also helps nonprofit foundations and endowments to pursue their long- term financial objectives through effective planning and investment management. Prior to joining our organization, Wendy was a managing director, market executive and private client advisor at U.S. Trust for 10 years. During her tenure, she led her team in providing comprehensive financial advice to ultra-affluent families, business owners, institutions, endowments and foundations. Earlier in her career, Wendy was director of marketing for wealth management at Wilmington Trust, where she played a major role in building the national wealth management business, overseeing strategic acquisitions and opening several new offices in key wealth centers throughout the U.S. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Canisius College in Buffalo. She serves on the Board of Directors of the High Museum of Art, is Vice Chairman of the Advancement Committee and is a member of the Development Committee for the Woodruff Arts Center, Council on Foundations and Georgia Planned Giving Society. She also serves on the Carter Center Board of Councilors and the WomenÍs Leadership Committee for Trident United Way.
