Rick Desimone joined McBee Strategic in 2007. A Washington state native, Rick Desimone has served at the nexus of politics and government in Washington State for over 16 years. Rick's political experience includes working on both of President Clinton's successful campaigns in Washington State, managing Senator Patty Murray's (D-WA) successful re-election campaign in 1998, and contributing as a senior advisor to Senator Murray's 2004 re-election effort. The 1998 effort resulted in Senator Murray being elected with the highest percentage vote for a U.S. Senate candidate in Washington State in over 20 years. In government, Rick has worked for the City of Seattle, held an appointment during the Clinton Administration, and has served as Senator Murray's Chief of Staff for the last 8 years. During Rick's tenure as Senator Murray's Chief of Staff, he played a key role in support of Senator Murray's efforts to lead the Senate Democratic Caucus' electoral strategy as she served as Vice-Chair and Chair of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in the 2000 and 2002 election cycles, respectively. Rick also advised Senator Murray in her efforts to advance within the Senate Democratic Caucus where she now serves in the elected leadership as Conference Secretary.
