Frozen-food heiress Alexis Swanson, daughter of Elizabeth and W. Clarke Swanson, Jr. In 1985, Clarke built Swanson Vineyards in Oakville, a small town in the heart of Napa Valley. Alexis herself worked in the family business as the vineyard’s Marketing Director, and expanded its product line to include Alexis Estate Bonbons and American caviar. She even has a cabernet sauvignon named after her.
