Deborah K. Bradley is senior vice president, head of program acquisitions, content strategy and licensing for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. In this important role, Bradley manages non-sports program acquisitions for domestic Turner Entertainment Networks (TEN), including TNT, TBS, Turner Classic Movies (TCM) and truTV, plus studio acquisitions/licensing for Turner’s Animation, Young Adults and Kids Media (AYAKM) division, including Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and Boomerang. Bradley consults with individual networks on program planning in support of network strategy. Since joining Turner in 2010, Bradley has closed deals on a number of high-profile acquisitions, including The Big Bang Theory and Two Broke Girls for TBS and Hawaii Five-0 and Castle for TNT. She also worked on deals to bring the hit series Cougar Town and American Dad! to TBS as original series. In addition, Bradley co-leads the strategy and licensing of TEN and AYAKM content to subscription video on demand (SVOD) services. In this capacity, she recently closed Turner Broadcasting's first-ever SVOD deals, which licensed TNT's Falling Skies to Amazon and series from Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and TNT to Netflix. Based in Atlanta, Bradley reports to Steve Koonin, president of Turner Entertainment Networks, and Stu Snyder, president and chief operating officer of AYAKM. She came to Turner after serving as senior vice president, cable sales manager, for CBS Television Distribution. In that role, she oversaw cable sales for current productions of CBS Paramount Network Television, Showtime and CBS News, as well as past productions. Prior to joining CBS in 2004, Bradley worked for Paramount Domestic Television. She started with the company in 1996 as an account executive for the western region, based in Los Angeles. She became manager of the eastern division and relocated to New York in 1997. In 2000, Bradley was promoted to vice president and put in charge of the southwestern regional division in Dallas. She returned to Los Angeles in 2002 to run the western regional office. Before her work for Paramount, Bradley served as national sales manager and regional sales executive for KSJO/KUFX radio in San Francisco from 1992 to 1996. From 1990 to 1992, she was an account executive at McGavren Guild Radio, a division of Interep Radio in New York. Bradley earned a bachelors degree with concentrations in communications and psychology from Boston College.
