Michael is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ellington Management Group. Michael founded Ellington to capitalize on distressed conditions in the MBS derivatives market. Under Michael’s leadership, Ellington has grown into a multi-billion dollar manager of hedge fund, private account, and other alternative assets, whose primary focus is on RMBS investing.
