Jeffrey M Mackinnon

Mr. MacKinnon served as Director of Legislative Affairs at Interstate Natural Gas Association from September 1993 to January 1995. From 1985 to 1993, Mr. Mackinnon served on the personal staff of Representative Joe Barton (R-TX), the last four years as Legislative Director. During this time, he staffed Representative Barton, a Member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, in all issue areas within the Committee's jurisdiction. Mr. MacKinnon worked directly and extensively on all titles of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990 and the National Energy Strategy of 1992. Mr. MacKinnon also handled staff responsibilities for Rep. Barton in his position as Deputy Republican Whip under Rep. Newt Gingrich.
