Chris Ott is a partner in King & Spalding’s Government Relations and Public Policy Practice Group. His practice addresses a wide range of issues on behalf of clients, including companies doing business in the defense, homeland security and intelligence industry sector. Mr. Ott maintains close relationships with key principals and staff on Capitol Hill and in the federal regulatory agencies. He also has considerable expertise in working with congressional committees overseeing investigations, judiciary, commerce, and appropriations matters. In government, Mr. Ott served as a special counsel to two U.S. Senators and spent over three years with the U.S. Caribbean Law Enforcement Intelligence Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico. During law school, Mr. Ott was named a Dean’s Scholar and was the Executive Managing Editor of the Saint Louis Transatlantic Law Journal.
