Dolan graduated from Boston College and obtained his law degree from Case Western Reserve School of Law. Dolan's professional experience includes working as a prosecutor, an attorney in private practice, and as a member of the ownership group for the Cleveland Guardians. Dolan has taught as an adjunct professor at the Case Western Reserve School of Law and Kent State University. Matt Dolan (Republican Party) is a member of the Ohio State Senate, representing District 24. He assumed office on January 1, 2017. His current term ends on December 31, 2024. Dolan (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. Senate to represent Ohio. He lost in the Republican primary on March 19, 2024.
