Guy C Stephenson

Weyerhaeuser Company (NYSE: WY) announced in March 2007 the appointment of Guy C. Stephenson as president of Westwood Shipping Lines. He succeeds Craig A. Lawrence, who retires from the company after 17 years of service, on April 20 2007. Stephenson was senior legal counsel at Weyerhaeuser and has been with the company since 2001. He has provided support to Westwood in many contractual, regulatory and other legal areas, and led the business for six months in 2006 when Lawrence was assigned to another project. Previously, Stephenson was a partner at the Portland, Ore., law firm of Schwabe, Williamson and Wyatt, specializing in maritime law. Willamette University, B.A. Santa Clara University, J.D.
