Rendel Solomon is a vice president at Muller & Monroe Asset Management, a firm that manages private equity investments for institutional pension funds. Prior to joining Muller & Monroe, Mr. Solomon worked as a brand strategist for 206 Entertainment in New York, in business development and visual media at Sony BMG Music, and as a project manager for Proctor & Gamble. He holds an M.B.A. with honors in Marketing & Media Management from the Columbia Business School at Columbia University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Tulane University. Mr. Solomon will finish his second term on the Alumni Association Board of Directors in June 2015, and has been a member of the alumni outreach committee. He has been an active alumni volunteer and ambassador at school admissions events and as a speaker to the student and parent community. Mr. Solomon is finishing a term as the president of the associate board of LINK Unlimited, a Chicago-based high school mentoring and scholarship program for economically disadvantaged African American students. He has also been involved with Midtown Educational Foundation.
