Lawrence R Pugh

Lawrence R. Pugh served as chairman and CEO of VF Corporation, a lifestyle apparel company with more than 14 brands, including Wrangler®, Lee Jeans®, and Vanity Fair®. He is also a former president of Samsonite Luggage Company and former director of Black and Decker and UNUM Corporation, where he also served as chairman. He serves on the boards or as an overseer of multiple community and educational institutions, including the Portland Museum of Art, the USA Biathlon Committee in the position of chairman, the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, and his alma mater Colby College, where he has been a director for nearly 30 years, 8 of which as chairman.
