Charles Berger

Charles “Chuck” Berger serves as President and CEO of Extreme Networks, providing strategic leadership for the company as it delivers high performance Ethernet network solutions and services to data center, cloud, carrier and enterprise customers. Mr. Berger is an established chief executive and director with 30 years of experience in technology including extensive P&L, general management, marketing and financing experience in high growth, large and mid-sized companies. Prior to Extreme Networks, he served as chairman and CEO of ParAccel. Prior to ParAccel, he served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of DVDPlay Inc. Before that Mr. Berger was CEO of Nuance Communications, Vicinity Corporation, AdForce, Inc. and Radius Inc. He has also held executive positions in finance, marketing and sales at Apple Computer and Sun. Chuck Berger currently serves on the Boards of Tier Technology (NASDAQ: TIER) and Bucknell University Board of Trustees. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Bucknell University and an MBA, Cum Laude from the University of Santa Clara.
