Takehisa Takamatsu

Mr. Takamatsu is the President responsible for directing origination activities in Japan. He has over 25 years of experience in corporate and real estate secured financing, investing and asset management. Since 1999, Mr. Takamatsu has been involved in virtually all of Lone Star’s investments in Japan. Previously, as a senior officer for the Hudson subsidiary in Japan, Mr. Takamatsu directed the due diligence and analysis and asset management activities for substantially all of the Funds’ investments in Japan, including real estate secured and residential mortgage loans, real estate-backed securities, real estate properties, unsecured corporate and consumer loans, financial institutions including Tokyo Star Bank and various corporate reorganizations. Mr. Takamatsu’s previous experience includes 14 years of various positions at the Industrial Bank of Japan, Ltd. including an external assignment at Asian Development Bank and management of value investments at Cargill Investments Japan, Ltd. Mr. Takamatsu holds a B.A. degree from Sophia University and an M.B.A. degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
