Reshma is the executive director for Partnership for Educational Justice. Prior to joining the Partnership in 2014, she was the vice president of external relations for Achievement First, a non-profit charter management organization. In that capacity, Reshma managed authorizer relations, governance, student recruitment, advocacy and parent engagement for Achievement First’s network of public charter schools in Connecticut, New York and Rhode Island. Reshma also led Achievement First’s expansion efforts, securing approval to open schools in Rhode Island. She began her career in education at Teach For America, where she worked from 2001-2009, serving as vice president of development operations and development director for Teach For America’s New York City region. Reshma holds an M.P.A. from New York University’s Wagner School of Public Service and a bachelor’s degree in urban studies and political science from Rutgers College. She is also a graduate of The Broad Residency in Urban Education.
