Married to Paul R. Ehrlich 1954; daughter, Lisa, born 1955. Anne H. Ehrlich has carried out research and coauthored many technical articles in population biology. She also has written extensively on issues of public concern such as population control, environmental protection, and environmental consequences of nuclear war and is coauthor of ten books. From 1981 to 2000, she taught a course in environmental policy for Stanford's Human Biology Program, and has co-taught a freshman seminar with Paul Ehrlich since 2000. She chaired the Sierra Club's Committee on Military Impacts on the Environment from 1985 to 1994. She currently serves on the boards of the Pacific Institute for Studies in Environment, Development, and Security (since 1988), and the New-Land Foundation (since 2003). Mrs. Ehrlich was also on the editorial board of Pacific Discovery (journal of the California Academy of Sciences; 1988-94). Education: University of Kansas, 1952-1955.
