Chris Wallace, a veteran anchor on Fox News and longtime host of “Fox News Sunday,” has announced he is leaving the network. At the end of his weekly political show Sunday December 12 2021, Wallace noted it would be his last episode. “Eighteen years ago, the bosses here at Fox promised me they would never interfere with a guest I booked or a question I asked. And they kept that promise. I have been free to report to the best of my ability, to cover the stories I think are important, to hold our country’s leaders to account. It’s been a great ride.” Shortly after his announcement, CNN announced that Wallace will join CNN+, the news organization's streaming product launching in early 2022, to host a show featuring interviews with newsmakers "across politics, business, sports and culture."
