Rosa Scarcell is owner and CEO of Stanford Management, a provider of affordable housing with more than 80 complexes in Connecticut, Maine, and Pennsylvania. From 1999-2005, Rosa was owner and president of DE Property Management LLC. Prior to that, she was development director for Landmark America LLC, an industry leading multi-family real estate development company, as well as development coordinator for Gleichman & Company, an affordable housing development company in Portland, Maine. She has served as an intern in the U.S. Senate and the New York City Council, a U.S. Senate Page, a member of the New England Finance Committee for Barack Obama. She is a member of YPO, the Women's International Network of YPO, the International Women's Forum, the Maine Women's Forum, and is a member of the steering committee for the Portland Museum of Art. Due to her aspirations for public service in her native Maine, Rosa ran for governor of Maine in the Democratic primary in 2010. Rosa graduated from Bowdoin College with a BA in art and art history. Her passions are to make her community stronger and healthier. She loves reading, yoga, running, good food, friends and family. She lives in Portland, Maine with her children, Dyer, Charlotte, and Burr and husband, Thom. She is a 2009 Henry Crown Fellow of The Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
