Stacey Hadash joined Banc of America Securities in June 2005. She was previously Managing Director and Head of Financial Planning at the New York Stock Exchange. Prior to that she directed the New York office of Public Strategies Inc., where she specialized in business development and communications campaigns for a variety of clients. Before joining PSI in 2002, Stacey was a vice president in investment banking for Goldman Sachs International in London where she advised companies in the communications, media and technology sectors. She began her career with Goldman Sachs in the mergers and acquisitions department in New York in 1996 and before that worked for Morgan Stanley as a financial analyst. Earlier in her career, Stacey worked in the economic policy group of the 1992 Clinton/Gore campaign and on the Presidential Transition Commission. She also worked as a special assistant to the Assistant Secretary for Economic and Business Affairs at the United States Department of State. Stacey graduated from Smith College with a B.A. in political science. She later earned an MBA, with an emphasis in finance, from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. She and her husband Terry make their home in New York City. Stacey is a member of the 2003 class of Henry Crown Fellows at the Aspen Institute.
