Daniel Regis joined Cray's Board in April 2003. He is currently the General Partner of Regis Investments, LP and has served in this role since 1998. From 2000 to 2009, he was Managing Director of Digital Partners, a venture capital fund specializing in Northwest emerging technology companies which he co-founded in 2000. From 1996 to 1999, he was President of Kirlan Venture Capital, Inc., where he managed similarly focused technology funds. Prior to 1996, Mr. Regis spent over 30 years with Price Waterhouse LLP, including serving as Managing Partner of the Seattle office and previously of the Northwest and Portland, Oregon offices. He is a member of the board of directors of Columbia Banking System, Inc., was Chairman of Art Technology Group, Inc., Chairman of the Advisory Board for Fluke Venture Partners II, LP, a Northwest venture capital partnership and is a member of the audit committee of Columbia Banking Systems, Inc. and Chairman of its Enterprise Risk Committee. Mr. Regis received a B.S. from Seattle University.
