John Reese has an extensive background as an entrepreneur, CEO and corporate executive. A central theme of John’s career has been the ability to identify and develop new business services that eliminate paper and empower end-users. He has created pioneering firms in two industries: Internet-based outsourced recruiting services and personal financial management software/home banking. Now at Parchment, he’s working on his third. From 2003 to 2010, John served as CEO of Parchment, formerly known as Docufide, leading all facets of the Company’s operations. He now continues to play an active role in corporate development and strategic planning as Parchment’s Executive Chairman. John founded iSearch in 1994, the first to provide Internet hosted corporate resume databases and recruiting tools. Serving hundreds of corporations and “Internet job sites,” Deloitte & Touche named it the third fastest growing firm in L.A. county. Earlier, John was TRW Group VP and President of TRW Financial Systems, a provider of high-speed imaging solutions for large paper-intensive corporations. In 1982, he launched “Dollars & Sense,” the nation’s best-selling PC software for managing home and small business finances. Earlier at Citicorp, he conceived, designed, and developed their ground-breaking ATMs and then led development of their self-service gasoline stations and homebanking services. John has a BS in Mathematics from City College of New York and an MBA from California State University at Long Beach.
