The youngest of four children, Elizabeth Ford Kontulis has been involved with the Lions her entire life. Mrs. Kontulis also holds the unique distinction of making a cameo appearance in the 1968 movie, Paper Lion. Besides her role as Vice Chairman for the Lions, Mrs. Kontulis serves as a trustee for The Henry Ford. She has served the museum for over 20 years. She has volunteered in numerous capacities in addition to working in the fields of advertising and promotions with Dancer, Fitzgerald, Sample and Self Magazine of Conde Nast Publications. She has served on the Board of Trustees for Cottage Hospital in Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich., and the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe. Mrs. Kontulis also served as a trustee at New Canaan Country School and was on the Founding Board of Directors for the Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Norwalk, Conn., where she helped to envision and develop the museum and its exhibits. Mrs. Kontulis graduated from Princeton with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in 1983. In high school, she participated in three Varsity sports while attending The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Conn. Mrs. Kontulis and her husband, Charles, who graduated from the University of Michigan Business School, lived in Ann Arbor for six years and now reside in Connecticut. They have four children who are all proud members of the Ford Family's third generation of passionate Lions fans.
