John Taylor is president of the Virginia Institute for Public Policy, an independent, nonpartisan, education and research organization that develops and promotes public policy consistent with the Virginia tradition of individual liberty, private property, and constitutionally limited government. He also serves as president of Tertium Quids, a 501(c)4 issue advocacy organization . John is also the producer of Freedom & Prosperity Radio, a syndicated talk radio program with a focus on politics and public policy. In 1975, he received a B.A. from Wofford College, and subsequently earned an M.B.A. from Georgia State University and a J.D. from the Woodrow Wilson College of Law. John and his wife, Lynn, have been married for 34 years and have three sons: Caleb, Joshua, Zachary; and two granddaughters, Audea Jordan and Olivia Lenea.
