Robert Terra has spent the majority of his career working in politics and government in the communications realm. His expertise includes crisis communications, rapid response, excel modeling, and media strategy. After graduating from business school in 2012, Robert joined Governor Mitt Romney’s Presidential campaign as Director of Strategic Initiatives. Prior to that he was a Summer Associate at Edelman Management Consulting. Before business school, Robert spent two years in the Office of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger where he was Deputy Press Secretary then Communications Director of the Governor’s D.C. Office. Robert also managed the war rooms for Governor Schwarzenegger’s 2006 reelection campaign and Senator John McCain’s 2008 Presidential campaign. Raised on a dairy farm in Central California, Robert received his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, and his MBA from New York University Stern School of Business, where he specialized in business analytics and strategy.
