Jeffrey L Weber

Mr. Jeffrey L. Weber, Jeff Co-Founded Luca Technologies, Inc. in 2001 and has been its Vice President, Geosciences since 2003. Mr. Weber also serves as Member of Scientific Team at Luca Technologies, Inc. He is responsible for the synthesis and integration of advanced geology, hydrology and geophysical sciences with Luca Technologies's biologic research. He is a professional geologist with 34 years of oil and gas exploration and production experience throughout North and South America. He has been directly responsible for the discovery of over 250 BCF of natural gas in conventional and unconventional plays. He spent the next 7 years working for Gulf Oil where he was responsible for the geophysical exploration staff and activities for the upper Gulf Coast and Offshore State and Federal waters. From 1978 to 1996, he was an independent consulting explorationist specializing in oil and gas prospect generation for small to medium size independent exploration and production companies in the Gulf Coast Onshore, Rockies and South America. Mr. Weber is a Certified Professional Geologist, a Member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the American Institute of Professional Geologists, Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists. Mr. Weber received his Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from Texas A&M in 1971.
