Paul V Seiler

Paul V. Seiler assumed the duties of Executive Director/CEO of USA Baseball full time in January 2000. Seiler is a 19-year veteran of the organization, beginning his career with USA Baseball in 1988. He has held a variety of positions during that time, including the Director of National Team Operations from 1997-99. In 2000, Seiler worked closely with Major League Baseball, the MLB Players Association and the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) to help lead Team USA to its first ever Olympic gold medal at the Sydney Games. The Trenton, N.J., native recently held an at-large position on the Executive Committee of the International Baseball Federation (IBAF) and is currently the second vice president of COPABE, the Pan American Baseball Confederation. Seiler was also one of two technical delegates for baseball in the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Seiler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology (pre-med) from the University of Scranton where he played soccer for the nationally-ranked Royals. Paul and his wife, Wendi, have a son, Braden, and a daughter, Abigail, and they live in Cary, N.C.
