Rebecca Byrne

The Executive Director of United Way of Baldwin County since 2009, Rebecca is Leadership Mobile graduate and is in the present class of Leadership Alabama. She has been a leader of numerous civic and cultural organizations, and has served as board chair for The Mobile Public Library, Beckwith Camp and Conference Center, and the Baldwin County Trailblazers. Prior to joining United Way, Rebecca worked as a consultant for the American Red Cross in Mobile and as the Director of Public relations for Southwest Alabama Health Systems Agency. In 2005, Thomas Hospital honored Rebecca with its Women’s Best Motivator award for her contribution to arts education. Rebecca has also served as the Senior Warden of All Saints Episcopal Church in Mobile and is presently a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Fairhope.
