Stacie E. Seger, from Fort Loramie, Ohio, was appointed as the undergraduate student trustee by Governor Kasich for a two-year term beginning May 16, 2013. Stacie, a graduate of Fort Loramie High school, is currently pursuing a B.S. in Agriculture studying agricultural communication. Committed to living every moment and opportunity to its fullest, Stacie wasted no time immersing herself in the vast opportunities available at Ohio State. She is involved in many advancement activities in the OSU College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences and served as a senator of the Undergraduate Student Government. With a strong affinity for international studies and the global experience, Stacie has studied abroad in Ecuador, Ireland, and Brazil and plans to study abroad once more before graduating. Stacie has a strong desire to make an impact on her community, this university, the Buckeye state, and society as a whole. Her degree in agricultural communication will help her education the public about agriculture and their practices. She believes everyone has a story to tell, and hopes to bridge the gap between farmers and consumers by sharing the stories of agriculturalists. As Stacie begins the second half of her undergraduate experience, she will accept Ohio State’s challenge to discover new opportunities that stretch her personal development. Her own goals include pursuing an out of state internship, Buck-I-Serve participation, and completing a marathon. Stacie is the daughter of Ken and Janice Seger of Fort Loramie, Ohio.
