Mr. Weyerhaeuser, 66, is the Chairman of the Board of Columbia Banking System. He is a clinical psychologist who retired from his private practice in Tacoma, Washington in 1998. Mr. Weyerhaeuser has served on several public company boards and has been a director of Clearwater Paper Corporation since 2008. Mr. Weyerhaeuser was a director of Potlach Corporation from 1990 - 2008, held the position of Vice Chairman of the Board during his tenure as director from 2004 - 2008 and was the former Chairman of the Board of EDEN Bioscience Corporation from 2001 - 2009. During 2002 - 2003, Mr. Weyerhaeuser served as the Interim CEO of the Company until the appointment of Ms. Dressel. He was the owner and Chairman of Comerco, Inc., the parent company of Yelm Telephone Company from 1984 ? 2000. Mr. Weyerhaeuser earned his PH.D in Clinical Psychology and M.A. in Theology from the Fuller Theological Seminary, and his B.A. in Economics from Stanford University. Mr. Weyerhaeuser has served on several civic boards and committees and currently serves as a trustee of the Seattle Opera, The Harold E. LeMay Museum and University of Puget Sound; was the former Chairman and Vice Chairman of University of Puget Sound, President of the Board of the Tacoma Art Museum and director and council President of the Boys Scouts of America.
