Vivienne Felix of Bowling Green is the graduate student member of the Bowling Green State University Board of Trustees. Her appointment is for two years, ending in May 2014. Felix is a second-year doctoral student in the Higher Education Administration program; her area of emphasis is comparative and international education. She received her B.A. from Lafayette College in international affairs, with a minor in Spanish. Since graduating from college, she has earned a Master of Science degree in organizational development from Friends University, and a Master of Education degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Connecticut. She has volunteered extensively in the areas of service-learning and college readiness. Prior to undertaking her Ph.D. studies, Felix worked in residence life and, most recently, as a development officer. At BGSU, she is a graduate assistant for the Division of Student Affairs, and serves as the house director for the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
