Stephen Daley, a Columbus Financial Advisor and third-generation BGSU alumnus, received a bachelor’s degree in business education from BGSU in 1988. Currently employed by Ameriprise Financial Services Inc., he has worked in the financial services industry since 1993, including service with Smith Barney and Edward Jones & Co. He covered the central Ohio region as an assistant vice president, investment and trust officer, for Bowling Green-based Mid Am Bank (now Huntington Bank). Daley has also taught finance at Columbus State Community College as an adjunct professor. He is a board member for the Legacy Fund of the Columbus Foundation and a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He also serves on the board of the Shirley J. Daley Community Fund, endowed in memory of his mother, Shirley (Figgins) Daley ’48. He belongs to the Presidents’ Club and the Heritage Foundation at BGSU. Before his appointment to the BGSU Board of Trustees, he was a member of the BGSU Student Affairs Advocates Board and was the Bowling Green Chapter advisor and chair of the Alumni Advisory Board for Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.
