Hanley has more than 20 years of experience in the nuclear power industry. Prior to becoming Dresden’s site vice president, he served as the station’s plant manager. Hanley joined the company in 1987 as a system engineer at Quad Cities Station in Cordova, Ill. Since then, he has held positions of increasing responsibility at the station. Before moving to Dresden in 2006 as the site’s engineering director, he served as director of Midwest operations projects at Exelon Nuclear’s corporate headquarters in Warrenville, Ill. Hanley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University and a Masters in Business Administration from St. Ambrose University. Hanley lives in Ottawa, Ill.
