Patrick James Starley

Mr. Patrick Starley serves as Managing Partner at Legacy Star Capital Partners. Mr. Starley previously served as the Chief Executive Officer & Managing Partner at Cielo Private Equity. Patrick has 14 years of principal level investment experience consisting of over 500 mllion dollars of debt and equity transactions in real estate and private equity opportunities. Prior to Cielo, Patrick served as Chief Executive Officer of Buffington Capital Holdings, a Texas based real estate investment firm that he co-founded in 2001. Under Starley's guidance, Buffington grew to one of the largest real estate development and investment firms in Central Texas. In 2007, Patrick co-founded and led the capitalization efforts of an affiliated production homebuilding business (Buffington Homes), aiding its growth to over 200 units per year with over $50M per year in revenue. Patrick holds a BA from The University of Texas at Austin. He serves on the Executive Council of the Real Estate Finance and Investment Center at the University of Texas, The University of Texas 1883 Council, The Executive Committee of the University of Texas System's Chancellor's Council and the Advisory Board for the Texas Advanced Computing Center.
