Pat Summerall

Pat Summerall, the man known as the voice of the National Football League, the voice of golf and the Masters, and a former NFL great, passed away on April 16, 2013. He was born May 10, 1930, in Lake City, FL. He played college football at the University of Arkansas, and spent a decade in the National Football League with the Detroit Lions, Chicago Cardinals and New York Giants. He then spent over four decades broadcasting football, golf and tennis, as well as other sports, for CBS and FOX. He was survived by his wife ,Cheri Summerall; three children, Susan Wiles and husband, Lanny; Jay Summerall and wife, Kathy; Kyle Summerall and wife, Dana; and ten grandchildren.
