Vlahoplus is a founder of MRP and currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer for the company. He has almost two decades of experience in new business development for the Zurich Financial Services Group, BNP Paribas, and Credit Suisse. He has created new businesses in multifamily tax exempt debt financing, low income housing tax credit financing, and real estate residual value financing. In addition, Vlahoplus has designed cross border and domestic structured investments in traditional asset classes like public equities and in alternative asset classes like fund of funds and alternative energy. Prior to working in the financial services industry, Vlahoplus was an attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York City. He holds a B.A. summa cum laude from Washington & Lee University, a J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, and a D.Phil. in Jurisprudence from Oxford University, which he attended on a Rhodes Scholarship. Vlahoplus is on the New York City advisory board of The Trust for Public Land.
