Cliff Greenberg

Cliff Greenberg was born and raised on Long Island. He went to Cornell University and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1981. He then went to law school at Columbia University and received his J.D. degree in 1984. My Greenberg worked at HPB Associates, a New York-based investment partnership, from 1984 till 1996. He functioned as a security analyst and fund manager, and became a General Partner in 1991. In January, 1997, Mr. Greenberg joined Baron Capital. Mr. Greenberg and Ronald Baron (Chairman and CEO of Baron Capital) had been friends for over 10 years and often invested in the same companies. Mr. Greenberg started as a Senior Analyst on the investment team at Baron and took on the additional responsibilities of Portfolio Manager of Baron Small Cap when it was launched in October 1997.
