Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President Jerry Vevon has over 35 years of operational experience and over a decade directly supporting continuity of operations and business recovery planning within the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD). A leader in the firm’s security business, Mr. Vevon’s primary clients include the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), National Security Agency (NSA), the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), and DoD. Mr. Vevon supports clients with services in the following areas: Mission assurance Business continuity planning Critical infrastructure protection Risk management Antiterrorism/force protection Disaster preparedness planning and exercises He is the Vice Chairman of the Disaster Recovery International Foundation (DRIF) and is on the Executive Board of the Contingency Planning Exchange (CPE). He leads Booz Allen’s Mission Assurance Community of Practice which brings industry best practices to all Booz Allen clients. Prior to joining Booz Allen, Mr. Vevon served on active duty in the US Army as a Ranger qualified master parachutist. He has received the Military Intelligence Knowlton Award and is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Vevon supports the Honor Flight organization, which works with WWII veterans and supports the nonprofit organization Darkness to Light, which works to prevent childhood sexual abuse. He received a B.S. degree in economics from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC and an M.A. from the University of South Carolina in international studies. Mr. Vevon is also a graduate of the US Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and named a Certified Business Continuity Professional by Disaster Recovery Institute International, and a Certified Information Technology Manager from University of Virginia.
